The story so far...
We started like many great brands have—out of a basement with 1000 pieces of inventory, lots of trips to the post office and a full time job to fund it.
The first product lines I created were based on gardening. The seed kit on the right was 2017, and the garden kit on the left was 2018.
In 2018, I moved the company out of the basement and into a self storage locker. That year I learned the garden kit design received mixed reactions and after 4 years and spending all of the money made from my job, I was ready to give up.
A friend pushed me to give it one more shot. And then I realized with the help of teachers around the nation we can spread a message. A positive one. A colorful one. A educational one. And to the kids of America. Sounds grand. And then Sproutbrite became a poster company.
2019 - Year 5 - the company finally started gaining traction! The first teachers that bought the Sproutbrite posters absolutely loved them and the business started moving in a positive direction for the first time!
In 2020, the coronavirus hit and cancelled my full time job in the service industry which left me with no income. At this point, it was all in and pray the business survives the pandemic.
In the first two weeks of lockdown, schools closed and sales tanked. But then, parents across the country came to the rescue and started buying Sproutbrite posters to decorate their houses for remote learning.
And when restrictions were lifted, a team was formed!!
In 2021, schools reopened and things went haywires! We needed 14 lockers to keep up for back to school. We pulled off a logistics miracle from the self storage lockers.
In 2022, we left the storage lockers and got our own warehouse!
